Tips For Building Best Relaxation Meditation

In this busy life, meditation has become the most popular technique to relieve stress among people. Meditation is not a vague technique. It is a practice well regulated. It is a proper technique that gives deep rest and peace to mind.

According to David Lynch, “The thing about meditation is you become more and more you”. There are so many factors which are to be adopted for its correct and results oriented practice. You have to follow a regular set of norms for this process. Out of many of the following three planning’s are must for starting the practice of meditation:

•    Congenial, Compatible Environment.

•    A Regular and Steady Timetable.

•    Sufficient Amount Of Time.

Let us talk a bit about the above three factors.

1. Congenial Compatible Environment:

For relaxation meditation, to start with, a proper and suitable environment is of utmost importance. It should be a soothing one, free from distractions if any. An easy chair in your living room or a pillow in your bedroom will do. An excellence ambiance should be created and one must be in comfortable clothing.  It is of much importance that time on each day should be same for meditation. Practicing at the same place every day is a good habit for meditation.

2. A Regular And Steady Timetable:

It depends upon one’s own choice. The onus is on the person, who want to do the practice of meditation. But one thing must be kept in mind that once you have chosen the time for meditation practice, be stick to it every day. It depends upon the suitability of time which varies from person to person. To some, it suits in the morning, while to others it fits in the evening. There are still others, to whom it goes comfortably before they go to bed for sleeping. But, it is of great importance that whatever may be the chosen time, be consistent with it for better results.

3. Sufficient Amount Of Time:

Again, how much time should be needed for daily relaxation meditation for getting good results, depend upon and varies from person to person? How long should one do it? There is no specific time for it. For a beginner, a period of 5 to 10 minutes is said to be sufficient for good results. In certain cases, even a period of 1 to 2 minute will do. But it has been noticed that people relaxed more in 10 to 20 minutes of meditation practice daily. So, practice and see the results yourself. But again it is stressed that whatever the period of time you have chosen, be regular and consistent about it.

Meditation helps to purify the soul, rejuvenates the body and provide peace of mind. So, we have seen, that to start with the practice of meditation, the three factors i.e., proper environment, proper timetable and proper suitable time period are quite significant for obtaining sound results. Whatever, be sure, whatever, relating to these, you have chosen, be regular and compatible with it.
