An emerald green lake that has fresh water and is in the Himalayan region natural, beautiful, and originating from natural springs are the things that define Dodital. Dodital Lake is situated at a height of 3310 meters above sea level. The lake is encircled by the Deodar forest on all sides making it one of the most gorgeous natural lakes at such heights.<\/p>

Dodital trek is a natural located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. It is situated at an altitude of 1350 meters to 4150 meters. Dodital is also perceived as Dhundi Raj which means the birthplace of Lord Ganesha. more than that it has amazing scenery as you enter Assi Ganga valley and it has a huge high altitude lake full of fish called Brown Trout brought in from Scotland in 1862 by Britishers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trekking to Darwa Pass can be done from Dodital Lake. The pass offers spectacular views of Bandarpunch mountain and the snowy ridges of Dhaula Dhar. A spectacular view of the woodland ridges and meadows leading to Hanuman Chatti, a well-known pilgrim settlement, is also visible. Lovely oak, pine, and rhododendron trees can be seen in the Dodital forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
