Trek Amenities
Trek Itinerary
- Start your journey from McLeod Ganj early in the morning. You can reach McLeod Ganj from Dharamshala by taxi or bus.
- Begin the trek from Bhagsu, McLeod Ganj. The trail to Triund is well-marked, and you can also hire a local guide if needed.
- McLeod Ganj to Triund usually takes around 4-6 hours depending on your pace and fitness level. The distance is approximately 8 kilometers.
- Along the way, you'll pass through lush green forests, meadows, and several small tea shops where you can take short breaks.
- Once you reach Triund, we will setup your camp at one of the designated camping sites. Triund offers stunning views of the Dhauladhar mountain range, especially during sunrise and sunset.
- Enjoy evening
- Spend the evening relaxing at the campsite with tea and snacks, enjoying the scenic beauty around you. You can also explore the area or interact with fellow trekkers.
- Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the mountains. This is a magical experience and shouldn't be missed.
- After breakfast, you can choose to explore nearby attractions.
- Begin your descent back to McLeod Ganj. The trek downhill is relatively easier and takes around 3-4 hours.
- Once you reach McLeod Ganj, you can either stay the night or continue your journey to other destinations.
