How to reach: Winters can make your travelling pretty harsh as it is a very cold place. So, if you are planning to visit this place during winter you must first check the road conditions. Otherwise, this place is connected via roads. You can get in here via NH58, going towards Rudraprayag then turn towards Kedarnath followed by Ukhimath (another beautiful hill station just 30km from Chopta).

Nearest railway station is 100km from Chopta, so that will not be a very convenient way in my opinion. And nearest airport is Dehradun which is also approximately 97km from Chopta. From there you can get a taxi.
