By Bus:
From Delhi: You can take a direct bus to Mandi from Delhi's ISBT (Inter-State Bus Terminal) or other major bus stations. The journey usually takes around 12-14 hours.
From Manali: If you're coming from Manali, you can find buses that go to Mandi, which take about 3-4 hours.
From Chandigarh: You can catch a bus from Chandigarh to Mandi, and it takes around 7-8 hours.
Once you reach Mandi, you can take a local bus or a taxi to reach the base of Prashar Lake.
By Train:
Nearest Railway Station: The nearest railway station to Mandi is Joginder Nagar Railway Station, around 55 km away from Mandi. Some trains from Delhi or Chandigarh go to Joginder Nagar.
From Joginder Nagar: After arriving at Joginder Nagar station, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Mandi, then proceed further to Prashar Lake.
By Air:
Nearest Airport: The nearest airport to Mandi is Kullu-Manali Airport (Bhuntar Airport), located about 50 km away from Mandi.
From Bhuntar Airport: You can take a taxi or a bus to reach Mandi and then proceed to Prashar Lake.
Once you reach Mandi, you can hire a local taxi to take you to the Prashar Lake base, where the trek begins. The drive to the starting point is scenic and takes about 2-3 hours.
