Make sure to withdraw cash from these towns before you head out, as there are no ATMs available in Kareri Village or along the trek.
Electricity: Kareri Village and its surroundings are connected to the electric grid, but once you head higher up on the trail, electricity is scarce. At the trek’s higher campsites, electricity is generally unavailable. We recommend carrying extra power banks (10,000 mAh or more) for your devices, as the cold temperatures can drain battery power quickly.
Cash: It is strongly recommended to carry enough cash with you as there are no ATMs available along the trek. You may need cash for transport to and from the base camp, rental gear deposits, and any personal expenses during the trek. Carry at least Rs 4000-5000 for these expenses.
