Best Time to Visit

The best time to embark on the Kheerganga Trek is from April to June and September to November. These periods offer pleasant weather, clear skies, and moderate temperatures, making the trek enjoyable and safe. How to Reach Base Camp?

By Air:

The nearest airport to Kasol is Kullu Manali Airport, located in Bhuntar, around 31 kilometers away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to Kasol. The flight to Bhuntar provides stunning aerial views of the Himalayan ranges, and the subsequent road journey to Kasol offers a glimpse of the beautiful valleys and flowing rivers.

By Train:

The closest railway station to Kasol is Joginder Nagar, approximately 144 kilometers away. From Joginder Nagar, you can hire a cab or take a bus to Kasol, which will take around 3-4 hours. The train journey, followed by a scenic drive through the mountains, offers a mix of convenience and adventure for travelers.

 

By Bus:

Travelers can board an HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) bus from several points in Delhi, including ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Majnu-ka-Tila, or RK Ashram Metro Station.
