Betaab Valley

Betaab Valley, located in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, is a breathtaking destination known for its lush green meadows, snow-capped mountains, and crystal-clear streams. The valley gets its name from the Bollywood movie Betaab (1983), which was shot here. Surrounded by deodar and pine forests, this valley serves as a gateway to Amarnath Yatra and a popular trekking and camping destination. Backdrop

Located about 15 km from Pahalgam, Betaab Valley was originally called Hagan Valley. It was renamed after the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh starrer Bollywood movie Betaab, which was filmed in this picturesque location. The valley is part of the Himalayan foothills and remains a key attraction in Kashmir tourism due to its tranquil environment and stunning landscapes.
